Cut and fabbed the factory mount to fit my new 31”... Moved it up 1-1/2” and in 3/4” It’s firm on the rubber stops and inside rim rests on the bracket to keep 1-2mm from the paint. 11/7/2021 0 Comments Transfer Case ReductionAnother build day... does it ever end?!?! LOL NO!!! 4.24:1 trail creeper gears!!! Started with a filthy dirty spare transfer case I picked up on my wrecking yard haul... Spent hours cleaning, degreasing and getting ready for the tear down. I was really nervous digging in so deep. I spent the rest of the day with instructions and video on iPad in hand... and it really wasn’t that hard. Bench tested and all is working smoothly. (Bonus) I picked the filthy transfer case I did because it had fresh sealant and a new brass plug. Turns out it was recently rebuilt with new bearings and chain. PRODUCT INFO11/5/2021 0 Comments Winch & Winch Plate
Ok did a little Fab work tonight... I was on marketplace and found a winch plate for $20 two blocks away. That got me thinking, I really like the factory bumpers minus the lack of functionality. So I ran and grabbed the winch plate, thinking “heck I can’t buy the steel for $20 might as well grab it.” Then next thing you know I had a tape measurer, a saws-all, grinder and the welder out... I’ll get some better pics tomorrow of the finished product...
